You’re not going to get anywhere if you try to rush them through things and aren’t able to be patient with them. If you try too hard to get them to pick up on things you know they can learn, they may start to get stressed. When learning is associated with stress, then the child may end up shying away from what they need to do. Just let them guide you and only do things that you know they are comfortable with when you first get started.
